During peak times, the I-80 / Illinois Route 53 exchange can become very congested.
If heading east on I-80 and the Illinois Route 53 exit is backed up, continue heading east to the Briggs St. exit. Follow Briggs St. south to Laraway Rd., and turn right (west) to CLS Gate 4. Turn into Gate 4 and follow West Rd. to Route 66 property.
If heading west on I-80, you can avoid the I-80 / Illinois Route 53 exchange by using the Briggs St. exit. Follow Briggs St. south to Laraway Rd., and turn right (west) to CLS Gate 4. Turn into Gate 4 and follow West Rd. to Route 66 property.
